    hmm okey… i only know it from my 750iL with BiTurbo that at this motor speed (6500rpm?!?) the Turbo is nearly as loud as the engine, but my M50B25 doesn’t have a turbo. So i believe you :P

    Anti-lag are the ‘gunshots’ that come out of the exhaust when you hit the rev-limiter, or when you first go in high revs and than let it down again.
    Sorry for my bad english xd

    it sets the ignition timing to late so the fuel ignites in the turbo it spins the turbo up faster but its terribl for the turbo you have to rebuild them regularly

    Antilag is a means to keep the turbo spooled up even when at low/zero engine load. In this case the spark timing has been retarded. The flame balls you see are there because with late timing lot of unburnt fuel dumps into the exhaust. It ignites in the turbo and keeps it spinning and thusly moving air into the engine.
