Hey i'm from the UK
and fed up of excessive price of turbo's over here,

which holset would you recommend for 1800 looking for 400bhp+
i was thinking a hx30, hx32 or hx35 but i'm worried about the spool up rate but apprently they are pretty good?

also i'm really struggle to find them too buy as alot on american ebay but not will to send them to the uk?

Besides your hp goals, at what revs do you plan on maxing out and at what revs. do you want to start seeing boost? (for a start)

Which 1800cc motor are you using?

Have you ever used a turbo calculator before?

Basically more info. Grin

8k rev limit could go a touch higher, i'd like some boost by 3500rpm,

it's a opel/vauxhall 1800 16v lump
steel rods forged pistons 8.5:1 CR

and no i've never used a turbo calculator before Cheesy lol

Try this calc. there is holsets in there you just have to go down on the list.
This calc. seems to fairly accurate.

pretty much decided on a hx30 for now,

or a hx35 if one comes up.

where's a good place to get one?

as they're mosta#ly on american ebay and they don't want to ship too uk Sad
