Crap!!

Turns out I have the 341, not a 351!! So I posted in the wrong section... not to mention I am even more impressed considering I have the little brother to the turbo I thought I had.

I am almost finished with the built motor I am building for my car... thinking I may upgrade to a 351 which should allow a slight bit more power potential (not that the 341 was maxed out)

free and clear, no kinks

The VGT is welded stationary and this has hindered oil flow through the turbo a bit.  But now that I have my DD, I'm going to unbolt that section and see if there is a seal I can replace.

Here's a shot of the oil leak in question.  It's not coming from the oil feed

I have told it is a hx55.  I was planning on using it on a 4.0L that would redline at 6500.  Here is what I measured.

Compressor part #3502391

4" inlet/3" oulet (OD)

8 blade

60mm and 86mm

Center part #3523508

Exhaust

4" discharge

72mm and 86mm

It have a 22cm^2 exhaust housing with a t4 kinda flange.

Thanks in advance.

I've got a very weird oil leak coming from the sensor bracket next to the oil feed on top of my HE351.  Is there an O ring or some other type of gasket that can be had from either holset or dodge, or would I need to fab up my own?  The oil leaking from there is pretty substantial.  I'm a little leery on unbolting it, as this is my DD.  Would it be safe to unbolt this and use some sort of block off plate?

Thanks for any replies Smiley

That looks nice.

When I was just out of high school, a buddy and I use to go rabbit hunting w/ his '79 280zx.

120+mph on a dark road to the lake. We would kill 12 to 15 rabbits on one 5 mile pass.  Grin
