I would like to find out the specs for this turbo, but after searching I couldn't find anything out about it.
It has a small 8 blade turbine on the compressor side. The exhaust housing doesn't have a wastegate. Assy 3591362 Serial 02633345 Customer 3591363-01-06/3 Model HX35 ![]() ![]() ![]() |

What's the smallest/biggest size of the exhaust housing on those? Are there any bigger VTG-turbos from Holset and what's the size of those exhaust houses? Need something thats from approximately 9-10 up to 24 (as the he351ve). Or are the exhaust interchangeable so i can use a compressor from say a 431 and the exhaust housing from a 351? Would like 1000hp on a inline 4cyl 2.3 engine Without turbolag......impossible? No, not when God invented Holset VTG The HE551V. Approx 9-31cm^2 ~71-72 mm compressor inducer. More information here. http://www.turbotalk.org/bb/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=227 You will definitely still have alot of lag, just less than a non VGT turbo. There is only so much energy available at a given RPM on a given engine. The VGT allows you to use it more efficiently, but it still takes a lot of energy to spin a large compressor. |

56mm inducer on compressor wheel same as hx 35 but has a 9 sq cm un divided exh housing which will spool instantly. but higher exh temps. my dad has it on his stock dodge dsl w/ auto trans. all the ratings for 35s and 40s are offly high on this site. For gassers u may be ok but i know on my cummins dodge the hx 35 is near its limit. 38 psi what i get. anything over 30 is not nearly as efficient. I have a 60 mm inducer 8 blade hx 40 turbo put in a hx 35 12 sq cm housing. had to take .162" out of exh housing to fit wheel of 40 in it. wheel is about 2.75" same as outlet connection on hx 35 turbo. may be swapping it in or selling it not sure
